Rangoli is a Traditional folk art from India.

The Rangoli patterns are typically created with materials, including colored rice, dry flour,(colored) sand or even flower petals,wooden powder etc.
dry or wet granulated rice or dry flour, to which Sindoor (vermilion), Haldi (turmeric) and other natural colors can be added in rangoli media. Chemical colors are a modern variation. Other materials include colored sand and even flowers and petals, as in the case of Flower Rangolis.
How to do it ?
1st step : Draw a picture whatever you want to do.
2nd step : Start with a main character of this picture,
when you create a character or portrait art in rangoli that time
draw the accurate features of this character.
3rd step : Start from Eye ,Lips ,Nose details.
Coloring start from High lights & mid tone.
4th step : When are You completed high lights & mid tone work then after use
Dark tone & shadows.
